I understand that there was a tool where you could transfer your rhino geometry to Revit, assign Revit data, then send it back to Revit, or at least something like that.
Essentially, the tool acted as BIM data transfer which is the first I have really seen in the industry, thus I am very excited.
However, all the posts regarding this tool are 1-3 years old, and I can’t even find where to install it despite some old YouTube tutorials popping up.
Yes, I have used this, and it works as intended I believe. However, this is not quite the equivalent to the previous tool because I am unable to edit the imported geometry as if it were truly a native Revit object/wall/etc. I believe in one of the examples from the previous tool, the imported “floor”, for example, could be edited in Revit. Additionally, Even though I have categorized my rhino layers and assigned them to Revit categories, they import as all the same material, and I cannot edit them/change the material.
I know what I am asking for is basically seamless workflows between both software’s, which I understand is basically impossible still, but this seems to be the closest thing.
