Hey @Insiders ,
As many of you know, latest.speckle.systems has always been our development server—a playground for testing and experimenting with new features. During the closed public beta of Speckle Automate, it became a hub for many brave souls who joined us in exploring the future of automation workflows.
To refocus the server on its core purpose, we’ve recently archived a large number of accounts and returned access to an invitation-only basis. This ensures the server remains lightweight, experimental, and unencumbered by unintended reliance. Please remember: data on latest.speckle.systems are not guaranteed to be long-lived, and the server is not designed for production use.
A Word of Caution
We’ve long reserved the right to light a match and walk away from this testing server at any time. While we don’t believe this latest action will cause any absolute emergencies, if you feel otherwise, please get in touch. We will evaluate such requests on a case-by-case basis—but no promises can be made regarding data recovery or migration.
Thank You
A huge thank you to all the brave experimenters who joined us on this journey—your contributions have been invaluable in shaping the future of Speckle. We encourage you to use Workspace projects on the ever-reliable app.speckle.systems for production workflows built for reliability, security and long-term use.
As always, happy Speckling!
Cheers,
The Speckle Team
