The Role: BIM Data Engineer
This is a data-first role for someone passionate about BIM, interoperability, and cutting-edge data solutions. Suffolk is looking for an experienced data engineer who thrives on:
- Building and maintaining robust BIM data pipelines using Python, SQL, and cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Integrating BIM workflows with APIs (GraphQL/RESTful), ensuring interoperability across platforms like Speckle
, IFC, APS and OpenUSD. - Shaping the future of AEC data by applying modern data engineering best practices.
What They’re Looking For:
- 2-7 years of data engineering experience, with a strong focus on BIM data formats.
- Experience with ETL pipelines, cloud platforms (Databricks, Snowflake), and modern data workflows.
- A passion for innovation—staying on top of BIM tech trends and integrating new solutions.
