I’m not sure if I’m missing something, but I couldn’t find a way to show/hide the model I “imported” from Speckle into Revit.
The solution I found was by creating a filter, then added the Speckle model to that filter, and in this way I’m now able to hide the model.
However, if I have several different Speckle models in Revit, I’ll be forced to create a separate filter for each one.
We have seen teams tackle this in numerous ways depending on their workflows, so we don’t yet have a hard and fast approach to implement/recommend.
For truly contextual modelling, what we’ve seen most commonly used is akin to the “best-practice” of having a dedicated workset for linked data, as you might have for 3rd party models or CAD data, but any preference you may have over this is good to hear.
