If those disappeared after the latest update I could suggest trying the previous stable release 1.8.24… Sorry for the hassle!

Yes have tried it, also with different versions. I am working in another Speckle version which has solved the problem.

Hi David, I’ve haven’t had a chance to try that yet as I’m on a deadline at the moment - I reverted to a previous version in the mean time. Once I have some free time I’ll try upgrading again and report back.

Hi @dirksliepenbeek, @Chris.Barker and @AndrewBlackie - we are still seeing this pop up intermittently, and I have been trying to reproduce the error (unsuccessfully).
If you are still seeing the problem (or can reproduce it by installing the latest version), could you:
- install MetaHopper
- open this GH file and post back the output
The GH file shows which version the speckle grasshopper plugin is being used, and hunts around for a list of speckle plugins that might be present on your computer.
If this turns up old versions of some speckle plugins, deleting the older versions may resolve the issue.
This will help us understand if the problem is due to multiple versions of the plugins interacting badly.
you can also check if the following folder is empty %LOCALAPPDATA%\SpeckleKits\SpeckleStructural.
thanks, @AndrewBlackie - that all looks pretty normal. Are you getting the error in the SchemaBuildercomponent not showing all the specklestructural items in this set up? I asked becuase I just reinstalled from the latest installer and am getting SpeckleGH version 1.6.10.741, instead of 1.6.10.0
small update - I installed the latest directly from the SpeckleRhino repo and am seeing version 1.6.10.0. When I install all the components together from speckleworks/SpeckleInstaller I see version 1.6.10.741.
Do you remember what sequence you installed various packages in?
if this problem is in fact related to how the GH component is installed, I’ve made a separate post with info on how to track down the various places components might be hiding: Places you might find a grasshopper plugin
From the version installed in my screengrab I don’t have any issue with the schema builder missing components - this was after downgrading from the most recent Speckle version. I haven’t installed the structural components separately at any point.
Am I correctly interpreting your posts that I should clean out all the locations where the GH components may have been installed and do a fresh install?

Here’s what I suggest:
- try re-installing the 1.8.31 clients.
- if the SpeckleStructural types do not appear in the Schema Builder Component, open the debugging GH file again and share the output.
- if it is showing a bunch of other SpeckleGH plugins isntalled, you can try to remove them and see if it helps!
