With the new Speckle UI now the default — and only — experience, it’s time our docs reflected that. docs.speckle.systems now covers the current app (FE3) and v3 connectors exclusively. Classic FE2 UI and legacy connector documentation have been fully retired.
This is the natural next step: the product has moved on, and the docs should too. Keeping a parallel set of legacy content around would only create confusion about what Speckle actually is today.
That said, we know some of you are running self-hosted instances that predate FE3. If that’s you, the interface you’re working with — no Workspaces, classic project views — isn’t what our docs describe anymore. You’re not forgotten, just undocumented for now.
If there’s genuine demand for a “classic” reference, let us know below. We’ll consider how to bundle that with the open source server.
