We have hosted our own speckle server, all seems to be working fine.
We are using speckle connector v3 with v2.21.3 and Navisworks 2025.
For some reason whenever speckle connector gets updated, we face this issue multiple times and to fix it we need to uninstall/reinstall speckle connector.
But this time it’s stuck, and doesn’t seem to help.

Could you enable the Navisworks console log to see if it shows errors reported from the server?
To enable the console:
The General > Logging > Enable Console
You should restart Navisworks and see what displays in your video when running through those same steps.
I can check with our team if any additional server flags have recently been needed for v2/v3 compatibility.

The speckle browser doesn’t open up, same happens with 2024
I recommend updating to the latest version of the v3 Navisworks connector, which is no longer in beta and should support your existing workflows. If you have a specific reason why you want to continue using the v2 connector, please let me know if something is missing in v3 that you rely on.
Very odd - is this from app.speckle.systems or a self-hosted server?

From your recording, I can see that it is connectivity that is failing - v3 for navisworks is considered “Stable” but is also expecting a server handshake that is compatible.
You may also want to check that you are keeping up with not only server versions but also our updated Helm charts/feature flag descriptions as we’ve migrated Server, Connectors and Legacy connectors forward and always forward check compatibility but not guarantee backwards compatibility.
I tried using both the connectors, first V3, and then the legacy connectors.
I wasnt able to load my projects in speckle connector v3
Secondly I noticed I’m not able to create workspaces, when I goto the /workspaces route
I’m running Speckle Server version 2.24.0

You are unable to create workspaces on a self-hosted server as it is not part of the Apache2 open-source license.
The Speckle Enterprise Edition (EE) license (the “EE License”)
If you wish to enable this, this can be arranged as a paid component.
The connector errors you are experiencing are very likely related to needing to update your server to the latest version, which is 2.25.7
Thanks again @jonathon , I found out at that delete the Speckle folder found in
C:Users/appdata/Roaming
It had around 55GB of temp files and some old files from previous connectors…
Now the speckle plugin opens up.
