Mouse Lag on Speckle viewer

Hi Everyone,

I’m experiencing a mouse lag when navigating in the viewer. Is that an intended thing?

(btw, I tried to upload a video that is 14mb and a I got the error saying 29.3mb is the largest size)

Hopefully you can see a comparison in this video. First view is from a IFC viewer and second in the Speckle viewer, not the responsiveness.

tbh YouTube or Vimeo works very well for free and can be unlisted

but plenty of other options

By default the speckle web app applies dampening to all camera movement which can seem like ‘lag’ when moving the mouse rapidly. The effect can also be exacerbated by having lower FPS

I’m be curious to know what out community members think about the responsive.

To me it just feel like a lag, but perhaps that is mainly because I work expensively with the model, so having something that is very responsive is desirable.
