I’ve been working with one of our housing project learning how to extract data quantities from our ArchiCAD Model to analyze it in PowerBI with Speckle 2.x latests connectors.
The problem is that with the latest NEW GEN3.0 connector we no longer have the same structure and some info is not longer available (At least that I see)
For example: In this project I have my composite walls (5 Layers) and in latest 2.x connector I could see this data as next image shows:
So I can no longer see quantities for each layer. Maybe I´m missing something? anything else I can do? I would love to hear the way that I can continue in this.
Speckle Status:
Objective: Costing Projects by Composite Materials From ArchiCAD to PowerBI (Powerquery)
Currently we only extract the name of the composite materials from Archicad, but the building material and thickness of the individual layers is not exported.
The good news is that we already have a ticket in our issue tracking system to address this. You can expect a solution in the upcoming weeks.
We just released version 3.0.1 of the Archicad connector. You can now find Composite Structure directly under properties if the element uses a composite material.
