Guess this isn’t the first time someone requests this. I would like the ability to send linked files from Revit.
Simlabs software do it, and they also do image textures.
I hope Speckle soon can be able to replace Simlab as my preferred data transfer method from Revit to SketchUp.
I am unfamiliar with Sim labs software. What is it about their software that you’re not satisfied with? So that we know what benchmarks you want to look at?
With Simlabs solution am not happy with the fact you have to buy a new version for each Revit upgrade, and the object organisation in SketchUp ends up with way to many levels to drill into to get to your object. Otherwise it gives me no problems.
Our v2 Revit connector already supports that, v3/NextGen will support this soon!
