We come across a lot of IFC models that are overly complex in their geometry, usually coming from M&E / FFE models that are using manufacturer products modelled to a useless level of detail.
I have seen dishwashers with all the motors / internal parts modelled (thousands of polygons) when you only need it to be a cube for coordination.
This tends to clog-up models and reduce speeds considerably.
Is there a world where Speckle via automation (?) could simplify these types of geometry to lower polygon count of IFC models before importing them?
