How to compare speckle with bentley itwins platform

Hi,

I’m new to spckle, it looks awsome! I have a plan to use it in my next project.
However my customer and I used bentley’s itwins platfrom before, iModelHub - The Backbone for iTwin.js Applications - iTwin.js.
Is there any compare about these two platforms, since itwins imodel, changeset also came from git.

Despite being a long-time Bentley fan, iModelHub wasn’t really on my radar until recently. Your post, along with an email I received earlier this year from someone else asking about migrating away from it, has sparked some curiosity—especially since it seems like an established platform that isn’t widely discussed.

I understand that while iModelHub’s change management approach may draw comparisons to Git, it operates quite differently in practice—and so does Speckle. Both focus on data collaboration, but their mechanics and techniques for versioning diverge significantly.

Unfortunately, we don’t have direct comparison material yet, but I’ll look into this further and follow up soon. In the meantime, if anyone in the community has experience with both platforms, feel free to share your thoughts here!
