Our latest release 3.6.2 marks the end of July: here’s a summary of everything that’s changed for the month.
July Changelog
PowerBI
- Follow the PowerBi changelog for all connector updates!
Revit
- MEP elements now contain system type properties, including the material of each element!
Rhino
- Fixed a bug that was preventing loading of blocks in Speckle submodels
SketchUp
- Fixed some meshing edge issues when loading models which resulted in bad mesh geometry. Please reload any models in SketchUp that were experiencing this problem!
Grasshopper

Grasshopper is now Stable, and comes with new DataObject support for any workflows with Revit, PowerBI, Navis, IFC, Archicad, Structural connectors, and Civil ! Recap of the stable release here.

The GrasshopperAsyncComponent has been updated! For anyone using this component in other custom GH nodes, please update your version dependency or else your nodes will not be able to load side-by-side with the Speckle Grasshopper plugin. -
General performance improvements in any node that does conversion (passthrough nodes, create collection node, and more).

Unbaked Rhino model objects and materials can now be cast to Speckle Data Object, Geometry, and Material params
Blender
- Collection and object visibility and object modifiers are now persistent when new versions of the same model are loaded
Navisworks
- Published objects now include additional properties: guid, type, layer, and sourcefile
AutoCAD and Civil3D
- All model entities now contain application XData properties when published to Speckle, for better PowerBI workflows!
