Hello, I am trying to export a model from Blender 3.6.5 to Rhino 7. My workflow is as follows: I export the meshes from Blender, receive them in Rhino, copy the meshes in Rhino, convert all objects to NURBS, and then continue modeling in Rhino. However, I encounter an issue when updating my model in Blender. When I press ‘Receive’ in Rhino, some of the NURBS objects disappear and are replaced by their corresponding newly received meshes from Blender. I need the NURBS objects in Rhino to remain separate from the mesh objects linked to Blender.
@salem_shamieh what happens if you keep all the received meshes in the model on a layer that you then hide and convert MeshToNURBs to objects layered separately?
Thank you @jonathon for your prompt reply. I did this, but the converted NURBs objects would still disappear when I update the meshes received from Blender.
Ok - I’m not clear on the expected behaviour we support, but I will do some research and feedback - it could be a bug to be squashed.
