Updating geometry, not copying

Hi! This is a question that would apply to all software Speckle interacts with, but I’m mentioning Blender here because I’m impressed by how easy the transfer is from Revit, with all materials applied in Blender persisting when receiving an updated model.

However, how do I avoid getting duplicate geometry when receiving a model? I would like for the received elements to replace the existing ones. Does anyone have a script for that, or is there a Speckle setting I’ve missed? Thanks! =)
