Unsupported Revit categories to Speckle and missing Slab Edges during conversion

Hi there, just wanted to know what’s the current unsupported list of revit categories that will not be converted over? Asking this as a general query as I have found out missing Slab Edges during my conversion.

Hi Jason,

Great to see you again! Here’s a list of the supported elements: Supported Elements | Speckle Docs

We’re currently working on a new version of our connectors (and I’d encourage you to try them), so let us know if what you need is missing and we’ll make sure to add it!

Hi mate!
Thanks for the link. I’ve actually read that and ended up in the community to log this issue.
See below for the image comparison.

We have modelled the Slab Edges in both models and we have sent the models via the “everything” setting.
It resulted in one having the Slab Edges and the other in podium without.
I suspect that there’s a limitation in the loop path that’s causing this to happen but I could be wrong.

Took awhile to respond due to workload but hope this helps explain the situation.

Cheers.

Just to be clear, there’s no solution yet and I have exported repeatedly for this.
Would appreciate if there’s advice on what can be done to enable the slab edges to be exported through.

Thanks!

Hey @jasonlkw,

I recommend publishing your model using the next-gen Revit connector. You can create a view in Revit and choose to publish either that view or specific elements you want to include. I can confirm that it successfully publishes Slab Edges as well. Right now, our main focus is on making the next-gen connectors the new standard.
