Hi guys, I have this problem for a while and I ignore it until now that I need to work with Dynamo.
For more info:

  • Windows 10
  • RhinoInside installed
  • Other connectors like Grasshopper are working fine
  • Already tried some uninstall and install of the connectors but no solution.
  • I read online about this issue and it seems to be in the backend of the connector

See image below. Thanks for your help!

It’s me again. Similar problem with RhinoInside:
“1. Ambiguous match found.”
I checked the data and I don’t see anything weird.

I haven’t seen this before, could you share the version of the connector and some logs?

Hi @teocomi, all the connectors are 2.21.3 and I don’t know where to find the logs.
The Grasshopper screenshot was made from Rhino Inside

Thanks, you can find the logs in %appdata%/Speckle/Logs, just copy paste that path in the Windows Explorer address bar.

Thanks @teocomi, this is the one from Dynamo:
SpeckleCoreLog20250212.txt (6.2 KB)

As the RhinoInside error is a runtime pop up message (not when pressing “Send”), it is not in the log. Or at least I couldn’t find the error anywhere.

Hey Gabriel,

It looks like RhinoInside is conflicting with Speckle, could you please try the following:

  • close Revit
  • reinstall the Dynamo & Revit connectors from manager
  • check if Dynamo works
  • if it doesn’t, try disabling or uninstalling Rhino.Inside and trying again

This will help us pinpoint the issue.

HI @teocomi,
I tried everything you mentioned.

  • close Revit
  • reinstall the Dynamo & Revit connectors from manager
  • check if Dynamo works - NOT WORKING
  • if it doesn’t, try disabling or uninstalling Rhino.Inside and trying again - NOT WORKING

All the time same error.
For more info:

  • My tests are made in Revit 2024
  • I have installed Rhino 7 and 8
  • I have also installed Revit 2021, 2022 and 2023

That’s all I remember right now.

Ugh, I’m sorry we had no luck.

Any chance you have other plugins installed that might be using Speckle or parts of it? Maybe something developed in-house?

What I could suggest next is deleting the whole Speckle Kits folder under %appdata%/Speckle/Kits, that will then require re-installing all the connectors in use.

Hi @teocomi, provably something made in house. I still need to check it out. I’ll come back to you soon.
