Tekla and Speckle in Power BI working

I’ve managed to get the Tekla model data linked with the Speckle Model. Looks fantastic in Power BI. Relatively easy but need to upload reports. It would be good if Speckle handled all of this.

Hey @Chris_Neville,

Great to hear that you’ve successfully linked all the data and created the dashboard!

Could you clarify what you mean by “to upload reports” and how speckle can handle this?

The reports are generated in excel by Tekla and uploaded to Power BI and then Linked to the Speckle model. Doing it this way I can upload UDA’s or any other attribute. It does mean that I need to update the excel data when the model changes though. I’d be interested in helping develop this further with yourselves (if I can be of any help)

Amazing work Chris, can you help us better understand what information was missing from the model in Speckle that pushed you to use Excel?

Some information not available, like the section length or any User Defined Attributes in the Speckle version ? Maybe I just can’t find them?
