Hi Speckle!

I’m currently looking into setting up a generic object model for connections with structural software.
Of course I’m looking into Speckle as a valid candidate for a durable and flexible model, and it just so happens that I just found this topic in the “InProgress” section of your public road map.

How’s the progress on this development going? Are there any insights that could be shared already? Will it be similar to the structural object model that existed for Speckle v1.0, or will it be completely revised?

Curious to hear more!

Hey Kelvin, good question!
Most of the structural development so far has been done by Arup in their fork that should be merged into Objects and integrated with internal efforts as soon as we hire a structural software developer.

@jenessa.man will be able to give you more info on its current status!
