Hello every one, i have a small issue, which is when i try to publish a sketchup model (which i have previously published before, iam republishing because i did some minor changes to the model) speckle keeps reading that its uploading but keeps getting stuck at 56% upload forever.
Hey @Tolba ,
Welcome to the community! Feel free to Introduce yourself to the community if you want to!
Can you do the following for us to better understand the issue:
-
Can you check if the model is published from the web app? This could be a UI issue on the connector side. It may not accurately report the progress even though your model is published.
-
Can you share the SketchUp logs with us? Here’s how to do it:
- Open Ruby Console: Go to Extensions > Developer > Ruby Console.
- Open the Speckle connector and publish your model as you usually do.
- After it gets stuck for a while, copy and paste the logs from console into a text file.
- Share the text file with us here.
thank you, it seems a certain component was getting in the way but now i have a different issue sadly, after the model was published i went to the online viewer and it is there but it never loads, its stuck forever at 0%
I’ve run into similar issues with certain SketchUp files.
Is there a way we can get more info when Speckle “chokes” on a particular component or group (if that’s what’s happening).
Instead of it hanging in the “Uploading” or “Fetching model data…” mode in the connector window?
Like an additional error window that says we should remove a particular element for Speckle to work correctly.
I’m happy to share a model if that helps (how should I send it, if so/)
Sharing the file would help a lot. I’ll send you a DM to a Google Drive link, you can upload there.
Can you share the SketchUp file and Speckle Model URL? You can send a DM.
