Speckle.revit.installer-3.9.0 don't work in revit 2026.3 and work in revit 2025.4

The latest Speckle Revit Connector, installed via speckle.revit.installer-3.9.0.exe, is not loading/appearing in Revit 2026.3.
The exact same installer works without issue and the Speckle tab appears correctly in Revit 2025.4 on the same machine.

  • Is the Speckle .addin file present in the Revit 2026 Addins folder?
  • Path: %AppData%\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2026\
  • File Name: Speckle.Revit.addin (or similar)
  • Please confirm if this file exists: Yes

I have other third-party addins installed in Revit 2026.3 - PyRevit, NonicaTab, Diroots

Revit Journal: I checked the Revit 2026.3 journal file (%LOCALAPPDATA%\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit 2026\Journals\journal.####.txt):

Assembly version conflict in some references in Speckle.Connectors.Revit2026.dll assembly
'Addin’s module RevitAPI of version 26.0.4.0 conflicts with same preloaded module of version 26.3.0.0
'Addin’s module RevitAPIUI of version 26.0.4.0 conflicts with same preloaded module of version 26.3.0.0
'Addin’s module Microsoft.Web.WebView2.Wpf of version 1.0.1938.49 conflicts with same preloaded module of version 1.0.2478.35
'Addin’s module Microsoft.Web.WebView2.Core of version 1.0.1938.49 conflicts with same preloaded module of version 1.0.2478.35

Let me know if you need any additional logs.

Thanks!

Hello, I think the connector doesn’t work yet for revit 2026. On the download site it says only 2020–2025 are supported.

Hi @Skomarovsky,

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting your question!

We cannot provide a definitive answer here as it’s very environment-based. The usual first check would be a conflicting plugin, specifically: Autodesk Data Exchange for Revit. Do you have other plugins installed? If so, try removing them and seeing if this resolves your Speckle install issue.

If this was the issue, try then re-adding your plugins one-by-one and let us know which plugin is causing the conflict.

@Gab thanks for letting us know! We will need to update this. Rvt 2026 was added.

Hi @bjoern ,
Thank you for the answer!
I followed your advice and checked for plugin conflicts. The conflict was caused by the pyRevit loader; disabling it in the Revit Add-Ins Manager resolved the issue and Speckle is now working.
