Speckle Geometry Component cannot update properties only

Hello team,

I noticed that Speckle Geometry doesn’t carry over Properties data if no geometry is provided alongside it (i can’t read from the web). This happened when we fetch data from the server and wanted to tag new property to the object.

I hope this isn’t the intended behavior, since the Rhino Model Object component can update any supplied data without requiring geometry.

At the moment, the only workaround is to include a geometry, even if there’s no actual change.

Could someone take a look at this issue?

Hey @Ray_Yong,

Quite correct, this isn’t the intended behaviour. The passthrough node should work as you expect (without including geo). I am having a look at this and will keep you posted.
