I would like to stream rooms and spaces from Revit into a tool to calculate heat loss and to do this I need to determine something similar as space boundaries in IFC and wonder if this is possible to stream?

Yes, it is possible to selectively send Rooms and Spaces categories from your model by using the Category filter.
