Send Civil3D Alignment and Profile to be Received as 3D lines in other software

Hello,

I am testing sending alignment and profile information from Civil3D to other software like Revit, Grasshopper, Rhino, etc.

I need to be able to send a Civil3D alignment and profile together and have them be received in the other software as 3D linework.

Currently, I have tried sending the alignment only, the alignment and profile lines together, and a feature line across. Each time when I receive in the other software, the linework is flat at elevation 0.

Is this possible? If so, can you please share the workflow?

Hmm, this doesn’t sound right. Can you share a sample file with Alignment in 3d?

I’m not the Civil3D expert… but if I understand correctly, what you’re asking for has already been fixed and will be released on version 2.13.
