Very nice! Thanks for sharing Rodrigo
my pleasure.
hi Matteo, today, after update the speckle visual for power bi, i can’t do colorize using another relation table.
for relation tables, i use the element id for progress status to my project… but, after update i can’t to do …why?
Seems like you upgraded to new powerbi according to your previous video. If you got your query in with old data connector and trying to visualize it with new visual, it does not work. It is expected.
You can check the new tutorial here
Thanks for the answer.
I have no problem with the model imported from Revit into Speckle and later into Power BI. My problem is that I create a color scheme depending on the progress of the work, for example:
Completed - paints the element ID green
In progress - paints the element ID yellow
Problem - paints the element ID red
To do this, I use the “object display” setting. In the “color override” item, I place a function for each status of my work progress. For this to happen, I have another table, with data on the work progress of the model in question.
In this table, there is a column called “element ID”. After importing this work progress table into Power BI, I create a table relationship using the element ID as the primary correlation key between the tables. With this, I was able to paint the element that had work progress. It was working previously, if you watch the video at the beginning of this forum, I show that it was working correctly in the old version. After updating to the new one, I can no longer get the relationship to appear in the 3D visual model. How can I get around this?
@digoms Next-Gen 3D Visual doesn’t support conditional formatting just yet. If you really need it, I recommend sticking with the earlier version for now. Just so you know, we’re planning to let users change the colors assigned to objects directly, without conditional formatting.
great news Bilal, a realy need this propouse for my project.
But, how can i dowdregree my visual version? where dowloaded?
You can still get the legacy Power BI connectors from Manager.
perfect..tks a lot
I’m ON again great. But i need help one more time, see:
but…
In Power BI Online, it is not updating to the old viewer version and insists on bringing the new version.
I have already deleted my browser cache but it still keeps bringing the new viewer and not the version sent from Power BI Desktop with the old viewer. Why?
hey @digoms,
STEP 1: Remove the visual from your PowerBI
STEP 2: Unistall App
STEP 3: (If not installed already) Install PowerBI from Speckle Manager
STEP 4: Import V2 Visual
Tkx a lot Nikos
I’m ON again…perfect
