Yes, it is possible. First you need to select the Category “Columns” and Isolate the objects. Then change the filter to Type and click the coloring button.
I want to do something similar to what Matt was trying to do. In particular, instead of selecting the category and then filtering the elements, I am trying to filter by Element Id. However, I have no found any way to imput the values of the IDs. Could you Nikos please tell me how to do so? Thanks in advance
Yes, I am having a Revit model in Speckle, and what I want to be able to do is to filter and select multiple elements with different IDs, like in Revit. For example, selecting ID elements 887949, 1130374, 1208297. Would that be possible without picking them from a long list of IDs of elements? Indeed, I have not been able to select multiple elements from the filtering list, is that possible?
Ahh, I see. You can filter by ID and then press Shift and select multiple elements from the 3D viewer and the Isolate these elements, but at the moment you cannot do that from the side filter list. Moreover, we don’t support searching by using/selecting a parameter value. It is something that we are planning to enable very soon.
OK, I would appreciate so much getting those functionalities. If you make it possible to do so, Speckle would be much more useful when analyzing models. Thank you for your time, Nikos
