When sending Lines from Autocad to Revit, all the lines are received as model lines. In some workflows we are creating details in AutoCAD and converting them to Revit details. Can I create my details in AutoCAD and receive CAD lines as Detail Lines and blocks as Detail Components? (If possible hatches as filled regions?)
As far as I know, in AutoCAD, a line is a line, so when they are received in Revit we need to make an assumption as to what type of line to create…
So I’m afraid it’s not possible! But you can of course achieve that by using Dynamo, same could be said for hatches (I guess).
