Questions about Power BI integration with Next Gen Connectors

Hi everyone,

I have a few questions related to the use of Power BI with the Next Gen Connectors:

  1. Is there currently any way to visualize models from a private project in Power BI using the Next Gen Connectors? If not, is there a possibility through licensing or any other method that would allow this? I would like to know if there’s an option available or planned.

  2. Using the Next Gen Connectors, I’m unable to filter and select the specific model link I want to display. I have multiple projects combined in Power BI, and I would like to choose which project to view through a filter. In the previous version of the connector, this functionality was possible, but I haven’t been able to replicate it with the new one.

  3. Will the Legacy version of the connector continue to be available for some time, or is there a planned date when it will no longer be supported?

Next-Gen Power BI connector supports visualizing private projects. Get it from app.speckle.systems/connectors.

Next-Gen Power BI connector does not support visualizing federated models yet.

It will be available for a little more but active development is only taking place for next-gen power bi connector.
