On the other hand, I have updated this model many times before using older versions of the Next-Gen connector. Yesterday, I uninstalled the latest version of Speckle and installed the Next-Gen connector speckle.revit.installer-3.0.0-beta.221, and with that version, I can update the model to Speckle without any issues.
I would like to know if anyone else is experiencing the same problem and if you have any advice or solutions for this.
Sorry for the inconvenience. The information you gave is enough to investigate what happened between 3.0.0-beta.221 and 3.0.0, thank you for that.
According to your image, it looks like you were using Views filter. Is this the case that Revit crashes while using that filter? If this is the case we have spotted a problem lately and fixed it with non-released version, and we have plan to release a new version today.
Yes, I am using view filters to update the model to Speckle when it crashes, but I have tried filtering by categories and it also crashes.
This view contains the following elements: ducts, duct fittings, mechanical equipment, air terminals, and duct accessories, etc. If I update this view with all these elements using the previous version (speckle.revit.installer-3.0.0-beta.221), there is no problem.
Using the latest release Rv3 3.0.0, I have tried uploading the model by filtering by categories, for example:
Ducts and duct fittings
Mechanical equipment
Air terminals
Duct accessories
In this case, I can only update the “Mechanical Equipment” without any problems. When I try with the other categories, Revit crashes.
Thank you for following up! I have raised a urgent ticket to fix it. If possible, sample model could help us to reproduce the same issue as you. You can share via DM with me, otherwise I will try to rollup with the information you already gave with prior posts.
