PowerBi Visual Refresh

Hi,

I have been using the PowerBI plugin extensively to visualise and present project data and it’s generally been fantastic.

Quite often however we need to package up the PowerBI reports as PDFs so that we can issue them to design teams. Often these have multiple pages with a speckle viewer on several of these - each showing a different element from the model.

Each time I change pages the visuals refresh themselves and the filtering is lost until you zoom/move around in the visual. This also creates issues when exporting to PDF as the output shows the loading screen rather than the visual itself. As an example, the page looks like the below. It would also be good if the viewer controls didn’t show up as well, so it was just a static image.

I realise it’s a bit silly to reduce a nice interactive report to a static PDF file - but some things in AEC are slow to change! And PowerBI licencing is quite onerous when it comes to sharing too!

Hey @davidjbrownstein ,

Can you share a power bi report where we can reproduce this issue? If you can detail the steps for reproduction, it would greatly help us resolve this issue.

Hi @gokermu I sent you a DM with the file. Let me know if any problems
