Hello guys,
back to this topic … we have tried it out again to add an applicationid (manual GUID) to objects in the same manner, but it seems to not work anymore. Did you change something?
Best,
Alex

maybe as an addition to the post above. We are currently working on an industrial project, where we want to give the GH to Revit a spin again. As this is an execution design (steel building bridge between two production buildings) our drafters want to annotate and dimension only once … hence a proper updating of changes is key. As the list logic might change (the design of the bridge has early phase character which quickly needs to move to execution-ready … the reality of fluid design phases ) … we need to make sure, that updates in Revit do not mess up GUIDs.
Any help in what we are doing wrong is appreciated… it sounds more dramatic in the text above than it is, we still have a bit of time …
