Hi,
I’m working on a water treatment plant automation where I need to model a lot of pipes, in many different configurations based on user input. The model will but accessable by engineers through Shapediver. In the Grasshopper script, I was planning to use the RevitPipe component from the Speckle 2 Revit so that we could build the model in Revit with just the click of a button.
However, I’ve noticed that only line segments are received and converted to pipes in Revit. And without connecting T’s, Elbows etc.. Polylines seemingly do not load.
I was hoping to send just a polyline to Revit, and the pipe family would take care of all the joints for me. Does anyone have any experience modelling pipes in Grasshopper for Revit? I understand the MEP users are scarce, but I’m still hoping for some help. This Shapediver application will be huge for us, and a working Pipe script will be a game changer.
