Issue Accessing Speckle Connector for Power BI – “Permission Denied”

Hello,

I’m currently trying to use the latest version of the Speckle connector for Power BI. I’ve followed all the steps outlined in the documentation (How to use Speckle for Power BI – Speckle Docs), but I keep encountering a “Permission Denied” error.

I’ve double-checked the project settings, and it indicates that the project is public and accessible to everyone.

Could you kindly help me with this issue? Thanks a lot!

Good to see you again. Viewing and loading models are two different things. In order to load a model, you have to be part of a project.

Hello, I’m the owner of this project. How can I manage or control who has permission to load this project? Do I need to log into my Speckle account in Power BI?

Yes, in order to load the model in Power BI, you need to authenticate within Power BI.
