I am currently wanting to import a credenza I modeled in Rhino into Revit through Speckle. This is easy enough… but I want to have that element imported as a FURNITURE (instead of a GENERIC MODEL) element and be able to add a Type Mark to it to have the furniture piece added to my schedules… is this possible?

Great to have you here! Yes, it is possible. Blocks from other apps are received as families in Revit. You can assign category and modify the Type Mark value of family type instances. Take a look at this video:
