I need help with IFC to Revit

Hi when I try receiving an IFC model through speckle in Revit, I get the following message. Thank you!

Welcome to the community! Feel free to Introduce yourself to the community if you want to!

Our support for IFC is quite experimental so there can be indeed quite a few surprises when receiving them. We are planning to improve it in coming releases, so it would be really helpful if you can share the file you use. We want to test it as much as possible.

Hi Simon! For what you’re trying to achieve - import an IFC file in Revit - I think the best way to go about it is to do it directly via Revit’s native options.

Is there a specific workflow you had in mind that requires Speckle in the middle?

PS: Thanks for the sample file! We’ll look into it and see if there’s any specific bugs we can sort out on our end.

1. The ifc import in revit does not work to well. Therfore i thought i give speckle a chance.

2. Thinking about making plugin/api connecrion for abstract’s software to speckle. Instead of doing plugins to different authoring tools. And revit would there be a good usecase
