I have this quite simple Hypar surface in Rhino (loft on two lines) :
In the viewer and in ArchiCAD, it adds a parasite edge between end of curve 1 and start of curve 2, which results on a roof planar shape

By the way, I was wondering if the viewer representation of a surface is computed directly by three.js ? Or should we send the mesh of the software (I am asking for the FreeCAD Part connector)
