**Help! Speckle Connector in Tekla Structures Suddenly Not Working**

Hi everyone,

I’m having a frustrating issue with the Speckle connector in Tekla Structures and was hoping for some help. I’ve been using it successfully for a while, and it was working perfectly for uploading a project and creating a dashboard in Power BI.

The problem is that the Speckle tab in the Tekla ribbon is now completely off, or grayed out. I can’t click on the Speckle icon to open the connector’s interface or upload anything.

I’ve already tried reinstalling the Speckle connector, but the issue persists.

Has anyone experienced this before? What could be causing the Speckle tab to be inactive?

Any guidance on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Akshanda_Jairaj,

Are you able to access it via Application & Components tab in the right hand-side? You can search for Speckle there?

If yes, that’s a problem with the ribbon registration which is easy to fix. If not, we can investigate further.

I’d like to discuss the connectivity between Tekla Structures and Power BI. I’ve used your Connector to export data (e.g., Version, Object ID, and other data types). However, when I try to connect the Tekla exported report with the Speckle exported data using the GUID unique ID, the synchronization doesn’t work as expected. As a result, my data connection with the 3D model isn’t functioning correctly.

Could we please connect to review this issue and explore a solution?

Hi Dogukan, did you check about GUID connectivity between PowerBi and Tekla structure as we discussed last in the call.
