GUIDs of IfcBuildingElementParts altered in Power BI Stream?

The GUIDs I get for parts after loading the stream in BI within the Power Query seem to not match with the actual GUIDs I see in the webinterface and in other IFC-Viewers … for other elements it is matching but not for the parts. Why and how can this be?

Actually I am still confused which stream to take as there is a difference between the old and the new viewer?

So it seems like in the light version there is the correct guid, but in the dark version it is not but I can’t use the share link of the light one as then I get the following error message:

Expression.Error: The branch ‘main’ in stream 123241243 has no commits

So please let me know about the latest workflow so that I can get the correct data as I am confused.

Hi @NeonFlux,

It’s great to have you back! I understand your confusion, so let’s clarify the difference between the dark version and the light version.

The screenshot with the light colors represents our new web app (app.speckle.systems), which is the current and actively maintained version. The one with the dark theme is our old web app (speckle.xyz), which is no longer maintained. I recommend using the new web app. You can learn more about that here.

To ensure I understand your question correctly: Are the GUIDs for the element parts set incorrectly, while the rest of the elements have the GUIDs set correctly? If that is the case, sharing the IFC file and the Speckle Model URL would greatly assist us in helping you.

If the data is displaying properly in the web app, it should also load correctly in Power BI. Please let me know how it goes.
