Group/Component transforms are not transfered correctly

First time using the next gen connectors and I am not getting the correct results in 3D Viewer:

The model is separated into individual groups per material. I tried resetting the position of all the group axes using the axis tools plugin, but I get the same result. Something is not handling the transforms correctly.

Any ideas?

Hey @miketalbott,

This needs an investigation. Could you provide more info about SketchUp connector version? Did this happen in v2 or next gen connector? If possible model could help us to debug if you can share via DM. It doesn’t have to be full model, reproducable amount of it is enough.

Hi!

I’m experiencing this issue with version 3.1.3. It does not occur when using the 2.X version.

After a short investigation, Its actually very easy to recreate. Here are the steps:

Create a component with several sub components.
Publish to speckle using the 3.1.3 connector.
Open the component and edit the axis location of the child groups.
Update the speckle model
see that the transforms are incorrect in the web app.
After this occurs, nothing will correct the model, not even a new speckle model.
