Hi Speckle Community,

I’m Christian Kongsgaard, a freelance consultant specializing in building custom applications and automation workflows on top of Speckle. I’ve been working with Speckle since 2021, helping architecture and engineering firms unlock the full potential of their data.

What I Do

I work with clients to develop tailored solutions that use Speckle as a backend for automation and data management. This typically results in:

  • Custom web applications built with modern frameworks (React, Vue, TypeScript, GraphQL)
  • Speckle Automate functions for automated workflows
  • Custom Connectors for 3D software that Speckle do not support.
  • LCA-focused applications, leveraging my open-source project LCAx and domain expertise

My Background

I’m a full-stack developer with a background as an architectural engineer, which gives me a unique perspective when building for the AEC industry. I understand both the technical requirements and the domain challenges that architecture and engineering firms face.

My technical stack includes Python, C#, TypeScript, React, Vue, and GraphQL, with strong DevOps capabilities for cloud deployment and infrastructure.
I am also proficient in Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit, Dynamo, Blender and SketchUp.

How I Work

I typically engage with clients on longer-term projects (3-18 months), working collaboratively to ensure we build the best possible solution together. I’m based in Copenhagen and work primarily remotely, though I can provide on-site services in Denmark and across Europe.

I’m always open to discussing new projects and exploring how Speckle can solve your specific challenges.
