Objective: I would like to transfer the data of a full Revit Library using speckle e.g. Recieving all the System Families : (Walls e.g.) and their data parameters such as; number and name of layers, thickness, material, material class, optical and thermal properties, etc.
-
Issue: I have no geometry to place since the information is stored in a Revit Template, therefore i can not share with Speckle. Should place like 1 square meter of each thing?
-
Example: If i link a project that has an existing element within it, from the library i want. I can find all the information in developer mode when i’m using that, but that is just for placed elements within the project. e.g. . Lets say I have 2m^2 of a wall and i check inside it’s element in Speckle with developer mode. I see the Property; Material Quantities; containing the information i need: Separation by layers, Volume and Area (of each layer, wich when divided give the thickness), all the naming properties there, etc.
So i’d like to find an alternative way to export a template somehow if that is possible. Or if someone has an idea on how to alternative do this that would be nice.
Thanks for the help,
Eduard
