Regarding the current explode model tool, I don’t see much practical use for it. A better approach would be to explode the model by categories, organizing all elements of the same category in the same place. I believe this could be a great tool for decision-making.
Last year’s SpeckleCon held a workshop that focused on building your own application using the viewer library where we did just that!
