Hello everyone,
I’m trying to import IFC (MEP) files generated with revit into power bi. I can always import them without problems, but in this case (and with others similar to this) I can’t.
the files are uploaded correctly in the project portal it speckle, but when I try to connect them via link to power bi it generates this error. I don’t know how to solve it, unfortunately I can’t request a new export in ifc.

The error says that the speckle_type property is missing on some elements, I believe this is a parsing issue of the IFC.
I think the work @adamhathcock and @Christopher_Diggins have done on the new parser should solve this, over to Adam to share an ETA.
This could be fixed with the next-gen IFC parsing that’s due probably in Feb.
The speckle_type would be the IFC type. I would be curious to see an example IFC that cannot be imported.
