Hey. I have a folder of revit files and I am trying to upload them all to speckle. There are too many for it to make sense for me to go through revit one by one and use the connenctor there so I was wondering how I should proceed with creating a script to take a locally downloaded revit file and upload it to speckle. I have worked a little with the Revit python shell but it does not seem to be what I want for this use case
Hey @abevington we started to develop a batch uploader for Revit some time ago, but had to pause it because of other priorities.
What it used to do, was starting Revit in the background, and programmatically calling the “Send to Speckle” method of our connector (so everything in .NET). Unfortunately, I don’t think it is in a usable condition but I’ll let @Jedd and @connor chime in. Maybe we could share a very early prototype…
