Dear Speckle Team,
I tried to upload an IFC4 file in Speckle but it did not work. Does Speckle provide IFC4 or does it only work with IFC2x3?

We probably need to update, currently - most likely not, though it can also be a parsing problem with the file itself.

So I need to use IFC2x3 until there is a new update for Speckle?
What do you mean with a parsing problem? How can I find out if the file has one?
Hi @charlotte, Incase you didn’t see our announcement, we’ve updated our IFC importer logic.
We included many IFC4.x models in our testing, and we’re confident that they import correctly.
Please let us know if you have any continuing issues.
