Hi! When I export a cube object from Blender, it is displayed in a web browser in shade smooth mode, and I would like shade flat. Please tell me what is the problem? Thanks!
Hi @hanter282
Welcome to the community!
In order to get flat shading going in the viewer, you’ll need to not have shared vertices between the faces. There are probably several ways of doing that, but one way of doing it in Blender is to apply the Edge Split modifier
Here’s an example of a flat shaded cube sent after applying the Edge Split modifier: Viewer - Alex Test Steam - Speckle
