Hi, I use Speckle and I really like it, but when I publish my dashboard in Power BI it doesn’t update. I’m referring to publishing in my Microsoft web account. How can I solve this?

I’m not quite clear about your workflow and what went wrong. Are you using web app? Do you experience the same problem when you try in Power BI Desktop?

When I publish my Power BI dashboard to the web through my Microsoft Power BI account, it fails to refresh due to a table that uses the Speckle model. The error shown is a Gateway error. However, since the Speckle model is accessed via a URL, I would expect the refresh behavior to be similar to that of a Google Sheets connection—where only credential configuration (like logging into a Google account) is required.
Below is the error message I receive:
“The data source could not be determined. To retrieve details about data sources based on a custom connector, the Power BI service must connect through a gateway, but no gateway was available or accessible. Details: Static analysis failed in gateway. gatewayObjectId:24bcdbc9-9d1d-4a1d-9f64-1567190967dd, resultCode:FailedWithUnknownFunctions. Query contains unknown function name: Speckle.GetByUrl. Unknown function name: Speckle.GetByUrl is a valid Mashup library function name format. Hence fail the operation.
