You need to go to Options and settings > Options > Security and change the data extension option. See images below.

There is an alternative to this we recommend to IT teams.

you can write our connector fingerprints to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop

• CDC489B709A709E3283568A9B75D75180B1355BE

These values needs to be appended to the existing value if it’s there (it’s a line separated list of fingerprints).

Microsoft has some docs on this also https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-trusted-third-party-connectors .

This should mean you do not need to set the “Allow any extension to load without validation or warning” setting, and will not see any warnings about “Uncertified Connectors”.

I only recommend this option if you’re familiar with regedit and have your IT teams approval.
