Lately I have been working on generating all Speckle C# classes in Python. This now works for all BuiltElements, including those in the Revit namespace and all Structural classes, except for the Results so far. I made a script that loads the built C# dlls and generates the *.py files from that. As I donāt see a contribution from the community yet, I could show this in 5-10 minutes. Will of course be a dive into the Python code, so will mostly appeal to the (Python) programmers here. Let me know if this would be a good addition for tomorrow.
As an example, see here the generated beam.py module with the Speckle Beam classes:
We can discuss if this could be added to the specklepy package and what the prerequisites would be for that. Although I did just notice that at least the Structural classes have been added to the package already by @izzylys.
hey @Rob, Iād love to see this shown off at the standup! totally cool and Iām super down for chats on how this could be integrated into specklepy. feel free to DM me your availability! maybe we can chat later this week after youāve demoād it for us at standup
