Hi! Thank you for your work! Please help me. I switched to the new connector v3.2.0 blender 4.2. And found that when downloading a project that is divided into collections, they are not displayed in the browser. All in one collection - which is very bad=(Will this be changed in the new versions? I also found that no modifiers are applied. Also, some materials are displayed incorrectly due to the connection of other nodes to the shader. Everything worked in the previous Legacy version. So far, when switching to a new version, it is not very convenient.
Hiya, @dogukan is in the process of adding Collections
structure to models published from Blender atm. This should be available soon!
hey @hanter282,
we just published a new beta version which also supports collections - v3.2.0-beta4.
Give it a go and please let us know if it works as you expected.
Good! Thanks! - the collections have started working. But modifiers are not applied. In the previous version, there was a check mark for the application. Also, in the presence of complex materials with textures, such objects do not display the color of the base shader correctly. Everything worked in the previous version. Now I need to convert everything before exporting - it’s not convenient. It takes a lot of time. A huge request to return the functionality of the previous version.
I’ll create a ticket for modifiers and we’ll bring it back. Good catch!
Can you give more context on this? Preferably with screenshots comparing legacy and current Blender connectors. I don’t think we’re doing anything different when it comes to materials. But hey, i may be wrong.
In version 2.xx, the color was transferred during export even when the nodes were connected. Now we have to reconfigure the material. This is not always convenient - unnecessary actions.
@dogukan are we doing something different with current Blender connector?
